VIDEO – The singer and actor is the portrait of the week in the celebrity show hosted by Isabelle Ithurburu. The opportunity to talk about those who mattered in his life, the mothers of his children and those he loved.

He has gun eyes. Singer, actor, Marc Lavoine regularly evokes love in his lyrics. You my love has I only want her. From the stage to reality, there is only one step. “Life is unconditional. It’s a responsibility to take, it’s a commitment. Me, I’m total. It’s true that when I commit, it’s totally and therefore it’s sometimes a little complicated. But it’s my way of doing things.”he confides to Isabelle Ithurburu this Saturday June 1 in “50 minutes Inside”.

“I have been divorced three times. I broke up four or five times. We never mourn these things. It’s like childhood. So I’m not mourning and I prefer not to.”continues Marc Lavoine before explaining: “Because we live from these sorrows. We build ourselves with these sorrows and also these joys, of course. I remember mostly the good, especially the things that were good. And when I say that, I see all the faces again.”.

Four children and three divorces

In the 1980s, he formed a couple with Denise Pascale, an American model. His first son was born from their union. She died of cancer in 2017. “With Simon’s mother, it was magnificent. It was extraordinary”, remembers the singer who then talks about his two other marriages. First with Sarah Poniatowski. They stayed together for 23 years and had three children, Yasmine, Roman and Milo. They separated in 2018. Marc Lavoine then married the novelist Lina Papin in 2020 before divorcing two years later.

“Without them, without Sarah, without Line, I would not be who I am. I am made of them. They gave me answers to lots of questions. And then, they also had questions about it and I remain very dependent on that”declares the artist who assures that he is still on good terms with his former partners.

It was after his third divorce that Marc Lavoine experienced celibacy for the first time. “I had never been alone and I have tamed this phenomenon and it’s not bad. It was time for me to be alone to take stock”he analyzes.
