Since 2020, Apolline de Malherbe has been at the helm of RMC’s morning show. To support the awakening of the French, the host, whose family owns a 16th century castle, can count on the presence of a team of columnists.
Nicolas Poincaré will leave Apolline de Malherbe on RMC
The presenter, who has an improbable link with Gabriel Attal, is notably surrounded by Nicolas Poincaré. The latter offers two columns every day in Apolline Morning, morning show broadcast by RMC Story on television. Apolline de Malherbe will soon have to do without his services. In an interview given to TV Magthe journalist announces that he has decided to leave RMC.
The one who is also in charge of the show The World of Poincaré on BFM Business will embark on new projects at the start of the school year. “It’s very fresh, brand new. It’s just been decided. I’m going to change creameries (…) I had a great offer that I just accepted: to join David Pujadas’ production company which is called Particles”, he announced to our colleagues. This company, which produces 24h Pujadas for LCI, produces numerous reports.
“So that’s mainly what I’m going to take care of, developing reports. More on the producer side, putting authors, directors, reporters to work to create reports that we hope to sell to all the channels”, specified Nicolas Poincaré. Through this new challenge, the chronicler ofApolline Morning intends to offer itself a real professional reconversion.
“It’s a whole new profession. At 62, I’m embarking on something I’ve never done before and which excites me a lot”, concluded the journalist who will leave the Altice group (group that owns RMC and BFMTV, editor’s note) at the end of the season. It will then remain up to Apolline de Malherbe to appoint a successor to take over the helm of the chronicles “Tell us” and “Explain to us” in Apolline Morning.
