Zapping Onze Mondial EXCLUDED: Randal Kolo Muani’s “Little Brother” interview!
Yesterday afternoon, the youngsters from Olympique de Marseille got the better of Stade de Reims and qualified for the final of the Gambardella Cup (2-0). A success which was obviously praised by Mehdi Benatia in the columns of La Provence: “It’s huge because it proves the work that’s been done behind it. We have often repeated that for the president it is something very important. We also see it through the first team, this year, a lot of young people have given us great services, and that will continue. It’s something very important to me, the future” he confided.
The pride of Benatia and Longoria!
Better still, the former Moroccan international was overcome by a feeling of pride: “Seeing that there are little ones on whom we can rely, who have responded, who are having a great season and who, what’s more, are going to go playing in a final really highlights the club. It’s a team that made me proud, and I wanted to tell them on behalf of the president,” he concluded. The final will take place on May 25 at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Villeneuve d’Ascq against AS Nancy. As a reminder, OM have only won the competition once. It was in 1979 after a victory in the final against Lens (2-0).
