After this tragedy, overwhelmed with thoughts and understanding that he wasn’t going to make it alone, Emmanuel Moire started therapy. A journey that has borne fruit over time. “ I have a lot of gratitude for this quest, because I also see clearly the state I am in today, and I think that one does not go without the other,” he explained to RFM microphone, Saturday. I worked a lot on myself to make sense […]. There are people for whom life is easier and who don’t necessarily ask themselves all these questions. I had to do it… And at the same time I’m happy because today it’s quite nice to experience the result of that.”

A precious little notebook with notes written by his brother

Time and these years of work on oneself seem to have eased the pain, without erasing the memory of this beloved brother. In April, to Libération, the singer confided that he carefully kept “a small notebook filled with notes written by his twin”. “As long as I talk about it, as long as I am moved, it is always there,” he added with reddening eyes.

A few years ago, he dedicated the title “Be Calm” to it: “ Everything is fineBe quiet, I am serene, I rest in peace, Or I’ll […] Be quiet, And be sure, Wherever you are, I watch over you, Besides “.

These moving words accompanied him during one of his performances in “Dancing with the Stars” in 2012. That evening, with his partner Fauve Hautot, he gave chills to the audience, the jury and his parents present. in the room. An unforgettable moment for Emmanuel Moire, who won the dance competition a few weeks later. That evening, it was a bit like his brother was there. The circle was complete, the artist considered, “life, that day gave me a gift”.
