Nadine Fähndrich won the classic sprint in Val di Fiemme as part of the Tour de Ski. The Lucernoise beat the Swede Linn Svahn and the Norwegian Heidi Wang to pick up a fifth success on the World Cup front.
Third in the Dobbiaco sprint in this same Tour de Ski, Nadine Fähndrich had not experienced the delights of victory for two years. This success acquired on the track which will be the scene of the 2026 Games crowns a perfect day. With the help of first-rate equipment, the Lucerne player, in fact, demonstrated total mastery, even if she almost lost everything with her too hasty celebration which could have made Linn Svahn happy. “I was a little lucky on the court,” she admitted during the post-race interview. I’ll be more careful next time…”
Third in Dobbiaco, Janik Riebli also reached the final. But the Obwalden lacked strength on the final climb. Victory went to Johannes Hösflot Klaebo. For the 28-year-old Norwegian, this success is quite simply his… 90e in the World Cup. It allows him to consolidate his leadership position in this Tour de Ski. Among the women, it is the Norwegian Astrid Öyre Slind who leads the way.
