POSITION 1: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS OFFICER

ASSIGNMENT :

  • Process transfers received, transfers and calls for funds
  • Execute remittance and documentary credit operations
  • Apply and enforce the conditions, rules and laws governing the processing of international transactions
  • Follow-up of corresponding account reconciliation

ACTIVITIES :

PROCESSING RECEIVED TRANSFERS, TRANSFERS AND CALLS FOR FUNDS

  • Receive and control customer transfer orders: compliance between the accompanying slip and the documents
  • Verify signatures and collect the authorizations necessary for the execution of transfer orders
  • Process transfer orders issued, transfers received
  • Enter the operations under IGOR
  • Validate the transactions entered and follow the outcome
  • Process intra-group fundraising calls issued or received
  • Pay correspondent fees
  • Classify reviews and archive the file
  • Production of various daily, weekly and monthly reports

EXECUTION OF REMITTANCE AND DOCUMENTARY CREDIT OPERATIONS

  • Process documentary remittance and documentary credit operations: reception, recording, entry into portfolio
  • Check the conformity of the documents received
  • Enter the operations under IGOR and have the entered operations validated
  • Write and sign the documents to be given to the client
  • Create any provisions for sight files
  • Classify reviews and archive the file
  • Monitor the payment of deadlines and the outcome
  • Production of various daily, weekly and monthly reports

MANAGEMENT OF TRADING AND FREE DELIVERY OPERATIONS

  • Design, validate and distribute the daily currency rate table
  • Carry out currency purchase and sale operations
  • Process foreign checks submitted for collection and transfer orders in foreign currencies
  • Monitor relations with BOA banking correspondents
  • Drafting and processing of exchange authorizations
  • Set up and feed activity reporting statements

APPLICATION OF PROCEDURES AND QUALITY

  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and the quality of processing of customer transactions
  • Examine complaints and anomalies, search for possible causes of the malfunction, and define corrective actions in collaboration with management
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with exchange regulations and operational procedures
  • Provide better support to the sales team in their areas of expertise

PROFILE :

  • Bac+4/5 in International Commerce, Accounting, Commercial Management, Banking and Finance
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a similar function or as many years of experience in the field of International Operations
  • Mastery of banking regulations
  • Mastery of banking circuits, procedures and techniques related to foreign operations
  • Mastery of analysis and technical advice
  • Good command of office software and banking information systems
  • Good level of English and if possible, knowledge of other foreign languages
  • Communication and negotiation skills, commercial sense

POSITION 2: TREASURY SALES OFFICER

ASSIGNMENT :

  • Develop the foreign exchange activity so as to achieve budgeted foreign exchange results
  • Collaborate in prospecting and customer loyalty
  • Manage the bank’s relationship with external counterparties
  • Sell ​​treasury products to customers

ACTIVITIES :

  • Organize and formalize the foreign exchange market service
  • Carry out spot, forward and Swap exchange transactions in currencies and XOF
  • Carry out foreign exchange transactions for “Corporate- Retail- Financial Institutions” clients, determine and negotiate the exchange rates applicable to their transactions
  • Mobilize foreign currency resources for the bank to meet needs and honor commitments within the required deadlines
  • Propose, plan and coordinate the currency supplies to the cash registers (in cash)
  • Work closely with the operations department to cover outgoing transfers, documentary credits, foreign currency security deposits
  • Contribute to the determination of the target clientele and the implementation of a customer loyalty plan and the acquisition of prospects
  • Determine and establish exchange rates and ensure their communication within the bank as well as to customers
  • Establish, manage and monitor the FX Blotter and collaborate in the justification of results and currency positions
  • Collaborate in the justification of currency account balances and pending transactions (bank reconciliations)
  • Formalize and distribute the foreign exchange market information journal to customers
  • Implement a coherent and aggressive visit plan (prospects and existing customers)
  • Monitor day-to-day FX results against budget and take necessary action to cover any variances
  • Ensuring that the bank’s customers are served efficiently: regular telephone contact, rapid quotation of transactions, good command of information on the foreign exchange market, etc.
  • Ensure that all Treasury products are sold to the bank’s clients (Fixed Income and Change).

PROFILE :

  • Hold a BAC+5 level diploma in Banking, Finance, Business Management, etc.
  • Proof of professional experience of 2 to 3 years, minimum, in treasury and foreign exchange market
  • Be comfortable handling foreign exchange transactions
  • Have a good command of French and English
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be responsive, rigorous, organized and available
  • Know how to work in a team and under pressure
