Considered the right arm of the cannabis baron, nicknamed “Jaw”, Mohammed alias Momo 94 was arrested in Ceuta in November 2019 then imprisoned in Morocco while awaiting his extradition to France when he had gone to the kingdom to spend vacation with his girlfriend. A painful ordeal for Momo. “There were twenty of us in a cell. We slept and ate on the floor. I felt very isolated. I was with big criminals. There was a guy with me who had killed his mother, a child killer, and I saw my neighborhood chief having his throat slit in front of my eyes,” he testifies. This still allowed him to overcome his obesity, because he lost twenty kilos in prison. He weighed 130 kg.
After his presentation to the Parisian judge in September 2020, he obtained his release under judicial supervision. His status as an alleged trafficker changes: he works as a driver for disabled children, finds a job as a salesman in construction. “Today, he is happily married and he is about to work as a teacher in a school that trains students in BTS,” says The Parisian. “It’s an excellent opportunity,” he says. The one who arrived in France thus goes from drug trafficking to teaching. But before leading a peaceful life, he is awaiting the verdict of the ongoing trial before the Special Assize Court of Paris for international trafficking which will be handed down on October 25, 2024. He is among the six defendants tried by the Court.

On Monday, Momo 94 appeared before this Court for drug trafficking and importation alongside “Machoire” and four other accomplices. This team “is accused of having in Île-de-France, in Bouches-du-Rhône, in Spain, from January 1, 2016 to May 27, 2019, imported tens of tons of cannabis which would have brought it a profit which amounted to figure in millions of euros. » “Momo”, “Gromomo”, or “94” is suspected of having participated in the organization of the network in conjunction with customers in Île-de-France and also made numerous trips to Spain where Mâchoire lives.
The thirty-year-old met Jaw in a company where both were employees. “I met him in a nightclub, but I only want to talk about my case,” he whispers. Most of the employees of this company are habitual criminals and suspect the structure of being mainly a facade, notes the president. “I don’t know, I was doing my rounds. I didn’t know the other employees,” adds Momo 94, whose criminal record only has two entries: “fines for driving despite cancellation of license.”
