Emilien ready to leave the 12 strokes of noon? : “I won’t stop myself from stopping if…”

He is the master of masters, the one that no participant has managed to dethrone. For more than a year, Émilien has been winning a series of victories on the plateau of 12 shots of noon , on TF1. If this Saturday, October 12, he only won 100 euros for his 381st show, the young 21-year-old history student broke the show’s records by winning more than a million euros since his first participation. A nice sum to which are added the numerous gifts won thanks to the thirteen Mystery Stars discovered.

Having become popular with the public, Émilien discovers the downside of notoriety. On social networks, criticism against him is increasing, and accusations of being favored by the production with questions are deliberately made more accessible to him. Rumors which are being heard more and more, but which the main person concerned prefers to ignore. “Everyone has the right to think what they want”he says during an interview with Telestar. Émilien therefore makes it clear that criticism is not a sufficient reason to forfeit: “I will not stop myself from stopping if I need to (…). I really like playing and I have been watching the program since I was little, so out of love and respect, I want to continue as long as possible” .

“I know the place is compromised”

As for rumors of favoritism, he assures: “I answer the questions people ask me. That’s the only thing that happens at that level,” declares the Vendéen. “When I came on the show, I was warned that I might face it and that it would be best for me to avoid reading everything that was said, he continues. I don’t spend too much time on it.” During an interview given to TV 7 dayson October 1, Émilien already provided an update on his numerous participations: “Really, my goal when I arrived was to try to be there the next day. The second show, the second day, that was my goal, that was my desire. And ever since then, I’ve seen it as a bonus.”

As for the change in rules preventing him from participating in 12 strokes of noon, requested by viewers, he replied: “It’s not something I thought about. I come back every day without asking myself any questions. I’m here, I know the place is compromised every day. So, I do my best and if I manage to stay, I stay because I really enjoy it there. Really, it’s just fun there. I’ll come back without asking any more questions.” That’s what it says!
