The Celine Dion enigma, is to be continued at 9:10 p.m. on W9. Celine Dion leads an impeccable career, without a false note, at the height of unparalleled popularity. The little girl, native of Charlemagne, Quebec, who nothing predestined for such a destiny, has traveled a spectacular path. Those close to the singer lift the veil on her exceptional career, her great moments of glory, notably with the show “A New Day…” presented in Las Vegas from 2003 to 2007, but also of sadness, with the death of her husband and mentor René Angélil in 2016.

At 9:10 p.m. on France 2 we look at the magazine The event. After the European elections and the announcement of the dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, France Télévisions is deploying an exceptional system for the legislative elections, including this major debate, live, between the main candidates, animated by Caroline Roux.

We end this selection with, the report Faster, higher, stronger at 9:10 p.m. France 5. As the Paris Olympic Games approach, French sport has invested massively in science to improve the performance of its top athletes… Rather than these constant jumps between the present and antiquity, we would have preferred this documentary to focus on the role of science in the preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics. It nevertheless has the merit of highlighting the work behind the scenes, which is essential in the quest for medals.
