Jimmy Kimmel shares how he crashed a party at Paul McCartney’s house

Since the time he has presented his talk show, Jimmy Kimmel has been used to seeing beautiful people on his set, but not necessarily outside of it. So, when he found himself, with his wife Molly McNearney, at a party at Paul McCartney’s house, it was funny to him.

Especially since the evening had started differently.

“We were invited to a dinner that night, and then our host was invited to this party and said, ‘Why don’t we all go to the party?’ And so we all went to the party,” explained the 56-year-old host, accompanied by his wife, at Howard Stern’s microphone.

And this is how Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney found themselves at Paul McCartney’s house celebrating with Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox to name but a few.

Celebrity parade

“I think what you do at a party like that is you gravitate towards the people you know and you’re like, ‘I can’t believe what I’m doing. to live !” And we just stand there,” admitted Jimmy Kimmel, who set his sights on Bruce Springsteen that evening. “He’s funny, you know? We had a good discussion. We talked about Elvis, and we talked about – I don’t know – about being in LA.”

Molly McNearney, who ended up finding refuge with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, expressed her discomfort. “It was one of those nights where you don’t know how to behave. I didn’t know where to look! I did not know what to do. It was like one celebrity after another,” she said.

“Even Bruce Springsteen said, ‘It’s a hell of a party!’ » added Jimmy Kimmel, who specified that Taylor Swift had played the DJettes by synchronizing her phone to the former Beatles’ hi-fi system. “People were dancing in the kitchen – including Molly,” he also recalled.

Ultimately, the stars’ evenings resemble those of ordinary mortals!
