She recalls with amusement her unexpected path to the show. Unlike many, she did not go through a traditional casting: “A little before the shooting, a friend, who was supposed to participate, suggested that I give my profile directly to the production manager. She loved it! And the funniest thing is that he didn’t end up getting the part, but I did!“. With a smile, she adds: “Since then, he even unfollowed me on social media… I think he’s a little angry with me.”

A reality TV show that highlighted his spontaneity and strong personality. A few months later Love Islandshe won the 7th season of Apprentice Adventurersin tandem with Gabriel, her ex. An ex, who she also found on the set of The Villa of Broken Hearts, currently broadcast on Plug RTL and RTLplay.I don’t really consider him an ex,” she specifies. For me, an ex is someone with whom I had serious plans, whom I introduced to my family. Gabriel was more of a flirt.“And contrary to what one might imagine, Gabriel’s presence on the set was not a problem for Louana: “We did the same reality TV shows, and when he’s there, it’s rather reassuring. I know I can count on him and trust him.”

“The Villa of Broken Hearts”: a reality TV show that aims to be without artifice

But then, one might wonder why this young and pretty young woman embarked on an adventure such as The Villa of Broken Hearts, a show focusing on the relationship problems of the candidates, helped by the famous love coach Lucie Mariotti?

A new season that wants to be without makeup and without artifice. A challenge for the Belgian candidate? Not really: “At first I grumbled a little because I had just come out of Apprentice Adventurerswhere I wasn’t wearing any makeup. I thought ‘great, a dating adventure, I’ll be able to look all dolled up’. And then, finally, once again no makeup! she explains to us.But actually, I don’t mind at all. I don’t wear makeup every day, so being makeup-free is no problem for me.” She also responds with humor to a remark by Benoît, another candidate, who accused her of “lying to her audience” by wearing makeup too often: “Ah, that’s Benoît! But no, not at all, I’m very comfortable with my natural self, I show myself as I am, without a filter.”

The outcome?

In “The Villa of Broken Hearts”, Louana entered with the problem “I’m locked.” Has she found the key to solving her blockage? We will have to wait until October 18, the day the last episode is broadcast. In the meantime, the Belgian candidate gives us some clues: “Let’s say that Lucie helped me a lot. She gave me tools to understand my difficulties. It wasn’t easy every day, but today, I feel more equipped to move forward in my love life.”

If you had to undergo cosmetic surgery to continue to make it in reality TV, would you accept?

“No one can force me to do something I don’t want to do. That said, I have no taboos on the subject. I’ve already had plastic surgery, well before I started reality TV. It wasn’t this environment that was the trigger. I believe that if you don’t feel good about yourself and you have the financial means to change something to feel better, then go ahead and do it!”

Reality TV is The Villa of Broken Hearts, but also Frenchie Shore… What is your vision of these different programs?

“There is indeed reality TV and reality TV. Today, we can use reality TV to convey strong and impactful messages, without limiting ourselves to stories of physics or clashes. Frenchie Shore wow then there… I spoke about it with a nanny (these are people who accompany us when the cameras are off, for care, medication). She worked on this reality TV show. I can tell you that the next season, apparently, is going to be a big one with an orgy right from the first episodes! That’s not what I’m looking for in reality TV.”

There is a controversy at the moment around Bastien regarding drug use on set. Have you ever been confronted with this? What do you think about it?

“Honestly, it didn’t really shock me that he brought it up, because these are things I’ve heard about forever, even before I did reality TV. But to be honest, I don’t use and I’ve never seen it with my own eyes on the sets I’ve been on.”

If you were to witness this, would you be prepared to denounce this problem?

“Honestly, I don’t think so. Firstly, because the repercussions would be too great for me. And then, as I told you, I’ve never witnessed this kind of thing, so I have nothing to denounce. But even if that were the case, I don’t think I would do it. It would be coming into conflict with productions that have given me a lot. It’s a delicate situation, because these same productions have also done a lot for Bastien. He wouldn’t be where he is today without them.”
