At the start of the year, Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy S24. At the end of September 2024, the South Korean giant is expanding the range. Thus, the Galaxy S24 FE arrives alongside the S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra.
It is also the cheapest smartphone in the range since it is priced at €749, when the Galaxy S24 starts at €899. However, on the screen side, the Galaxy S24 FE has the characteristics of that of the S24+, namely a 6.7″ AMOLED 2X dynamic screen with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. For the rest, this S24 FE is closer to the S24. We find in particular the same processor, the Exynos 2400e, associated with 8GB of RAM.
Likewise, in terms of cameras, we find a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the other hand, a concession was made on the 8MP telephoto sensor, compared to 10MP for the S24 and S24+. The same goes for the 10MP front camera, compared to 12MP on the other two models. Regarding autonomy, Samsung wants to reassure by integrating a 4700mAh battery (compared to 4000mAh for the S24).
Of course, like its big brothers, the Galaxy S24 FE is designed to exploit Galaxy AI functions. Thus, the capabilities of the camera system are enhanced by the dynamic ProVisual Engine, aiming among other things to improve photo details and texture rendering. Gamers will also appreciate the Vision Booster functionality which optimizes colors and contrast for gaming. Finally, let us point out that this new model is now available in four colors: Blue, Graphite, Mint and Yellow.
