The American artificial intelligence company OpenAI recently announced the availability of its ChatGPT “chatbot” within the famous messaging service WhatsApp, from the Meta group. It will also be possible to access it via a telephone call.
The ChatGPT empire continues to expand every day to as many people as possible, all over the world. OpenAI, an American artificial intelligence company founded in 2015, creator of ChatGPT, launched its conversational agent using generative artificial intelligence on WhatsApp.
For this, nothing could be simpler. All you have to do is add the number 1-800-242-8478 to your contacts in the messaging application, then start a conversation with the “chatbot” and thus benefit from the responses of the generative AI without having to go through by a browser or application. Once in the contacts of the application to enter the number, remember to delete the indication +33 before entering the number, since it is the indicator of France, but the ChatGPT number is a United States code.
The company founded in particular by Elon Musk also indicated that it was working on an option allowing users to connect to their ChatGPT account, via WhatsApp, and thus be able to access their search history, among other things.
But that’s not all. OpenAI also communicated on the experimentation of a brand new functionality allowing to converse with ChatGPT via a telephone call. A test currently limited to users based in the United States via the number 1-800-242-8478.
Currently, each user benefits from 15 minutes of free voice calls per month, but this limit could quickly change.
Finally, note that the Meta group also benefits from its own “chatbot” on the Whatsapp application, entitled MetaAI.
