Catalan scrum half Sadek Deghmache will finish the season in .

Lacking playing time since the start of the season, Sadek Deghmache will leave USAP at the start of 2025. The 29-year-old scrum half will join Colomiers (10th in Pro D2) – on loan – from this week, until next June.

The Cérétan has only played 81 minutes this season, with only one Top 14 match on the pitch at -Bègles and one start in Amsterdam against the Cheetahs. But he moved to number 4 in the hierarchy of scrum halves, behind Tom Ecochard, James Hall and Gela Aprasidze.

Physical problems marred his summer, and he struggled to regain his level. The one which allowed him, in June 2023, to be called up with the XV of for a three-day training course in Marcoussis.

Sadek Deghmache will therefore return to Pro D2, where he played 84 matches in four seasons. He arrives in Colomiers as a medical joker for Ugo Séguéla, victim of a ruptured cruciate ligament. He will share the position of 9 with Mathis Galthié (23 years old), Fabien's son, and with Arthur Diaz (21 years old).

At the end of his contract next June, his future at USAP remains very uncertain. If he has an option year, it will undoubtedly be dictated by his next performances with his new club.

Vakhtang Jintcharadze in

On Friday, the club announced the departure of Vakhtang Jintcharadze with immediate effect. Recruited in 2019, the Georgian never managed to break through. Arriving as a right pillar, he was converted to the position of hooker last season. And it was Montauban who jumped at the opportunity to recruit him. The current 7th in Pro D2 was looking for a medical wildcard to replace Ru-hann Greyling. He will therefore find, in this hooker position, Jérémie Maurouard, who had done a very short two-month freelance stint in at the start of the 2023-2024 season. Vakhtang Jintcharadze could make his first match with his new colors this Thursday (9 p.m.) in .

If this signing was announced on loan, it is not sure to see the Georgian hooker again in the blood and gold colors. In this position for next season, USAP has already recruited Samoan Sama Malolo, while Seilala Lam could be offered an additional year. And knowing that Ignacio Ruiz (2027) and Victor Montgaillard (2026) are still under contract.
