Among those on this list, Hamas for its part demands a discreet commitment to the withdrawal of its troops deployed in the Gaza Strip, as well as the release of a certain number of Palestinian detainees sentenced to heavy prison terms for terrorism .
As we can see, there is no shortage of difficulties towards reaching an agreement. The next few days could in any case prove decisive. David Barnea, the head of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, is expected to travel to Qatar on Monday to oversee the negotiations.
