Mitt releases its first GT, a low-cost copy of the BMW R 1250 RT

The Spanish manufacturer Mitt continues to expand its range from China with the presentation of its first mid-size GT, the GT-K. A cheap alternative to the European and Japanese competition which does not lack arguments…

Mitt, this may not mean anything to you, but that could change. The Spanish brand of the Jets Marivent group, born in 2004 in Madrid, is in fact gradually building a range that does not lack allure and at very competitive prices. It must be said that all of its motorcycles are manufactured in China, a region which is definitely continuing to increase its influence on the motorcycle world. And after his trail 530 TT Adventure, his custom 808 Big Foot and even his custom touring 808 Traveler, it is now in the GT segment that Mitt is arriving with the GT-K, which is none other than a Jedi Motor Kirin 750 rebadged.

A motorcycle that unabashedly draws its inspiration from the BMW R 1250 RT, but with a slightly lower level of range and above all an engine that has nothing to do with it. We thus find a 730cc twin-cylinder which develops 75 horsepower and 70 Nm of torque. We will therefore not be destabilized by the excess of power, especially since there is still 225 kg to move. On the other hand, we appreciate the 24-liter tank as well as equipment that is rather in line with an anti-dribble clutch, an electric screen, Brembo radial braking associated with Bosch ABS and even adjustable suspensions. Even the tire fitting, Pirelli Angel GT, is anything but Chinese.

The protection promises to be first-rate while small people will be comfortable with a saddle height of 780 mm. The TFT screen that can be connected to your smartphone looks great and will be accompanied by USB sockets. Finally, the new product features a keyless start system, heated handles and even a heated seat as standard. All of which is guaranteed for 5 years for those who are cautious and would not trust a brand that is still little known here. Finally, the last strong argument is its price. €11,495. A motorcycle which therefore has great advantages for those who wish to travel in comfort, without necessarily needing an engine overflowing with horsepower. Mitt has a very extensive network in Spain and a first dealership in , Warning Bike in Fréjus.
