The e-2008 starts the year with a big price reduction. All versions drop by more than €3,000.
The transition to the new year is often an opportunity to increase prices, regardless of the product sold. But we can also have good surprises! At Peugeot for example, in addition to the sharp drop in the access ticket for the e-208, we could see in the configurator a reduction in prices for the electric 2008.
The SUV is now priced from €36,000 with the 136 hp unit, the 46.3 kWh battery (useful capacity) and the Style finish. Before, it was €39,250. That’s a reduction of €3,250 at once. Good news… that we’ve been waiting for for a while.
The e-2008 was indeed priced too high on the electric market. When you think that a more spacious Renault Scénic with a 60 kWh battery starts at €39,990! Even in the Stellantis group, the Peugeot was very poorly placed. For several weeks, the Opel Mokka has started at €36,900, with the 156 hp unit and the largest 51 kWh battery. With it, the 2008 is now priced at €38,000, compared to €40,250 previously, still in the Style finish.
As for the mid-range Allure, the 136 hp now costs €38,000 (- €3,200) and the 156 hp is €40,000 (- €2,200). Same reductions for the GT, which now gives €39,700 and €41,700.
These prices do not include the bonus, which can reach €4,000. In addition, they do not take into account discounts. And from the online configurator, the prices are discounted. So, if the starting catalog price is €36,000, Peugeot is currently announcing €32,780, a gift of €3,220!
What a better place to place the 2008… even if the competition doesn’t give in. Online, a Mokka with a large battery is already on sale at €34,400.
