A man was arrested on December 25 in Amsterdam, in the investigation into the death of Barbara, a 24-year-old young woman, found dead in her apartment in downtown Avignon (Vaucluse), on December 10, learned here Vaucluse (formerly France Bleu Vaucluse) from the public prosecutor’s office.
Three weeks after the young girl’s death, this man in his thirties was arrested after the issuance of a European arrest warrant by the Avignon public prosecutor’s office. He is suspected of having been in contact with the victim a few hours before her death.
The girl’s body was found at her home and showed signs of swelling on her face, she was partially undressed. According to the first elements of the investigation, she had consumed drugs the weekend before her death, with other people. The Avignon public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into murder, acts of torture and barbarity by an organized gang.
