Météo-France placed nine departments in the west of the territory on yellow alert for risks of rain and flooding on Saturday January 4.
Brittany will be particularly affected by a significant episode of rain. So much so that the departments of Finistère, Côtes-d’Armor, Ille-et-Villaine, Morbihan, and Loire-Atlantique (44) are placed on yellow alert for rain and flooding by Météo-France this Saturday.
The departments of Mayenne, Sarthe and Maine-et-Loire, in the Pays de la Loire region, will also be affected. Finally, on the Normandy side, it is the English Channel which is on alert.

Risk of freezing rain
Throughout France, the rains will continue to circulate towards the Pyrenees but also over the Corsican terrain. Over the rest of the territory, the sun will be veiled by clouds.
