The cause was a technical problem reported by the pilots, requiring an immediate return to the departure airport. According to AirLiveflight tracking service, the plane was flying over Brittany when it had to turn back. Faced with this situation, pilots declared an emergency, triggering the deployment of emergency services at Bristol Airport.
The plane was finally able to land safely. “The plane landed normally and was met by emergency services as a routine and precautionary measure,” an EasyJet spokesperson said.

On arrival, the passengers were taken care of by the company and were able to disembark without incident. EasyJet provided them with refreshments while they waited for a new aircraft to become available. The flight was finally able to leave for Marrakech in the afternoon with another crew.
