Pimax recently unveiled the Dream Air. For those who missed it, this is this company's new ultra-light PC VR headset. The gadget features 4K micro-OLED displays, eye tracking, and an optimized design for maximum comfort. It could well become a benchmark in the world of virtual reality (VR). You'll be happy to know that pre-orders are now open for the Pimax Dream Air model, but how much does the device cost?

The helmet Pimax Dream Air costs $1,895 if purchased at its normal price. This price also includes a pair of controllers, but without the surrounding rings, which are a feature often used for better hand tracking in some headsets.

If you pre-order the headset, you can get it for $1,199. This means you get a discount off the original price. Please note that the advertised price relates only to the product. As for shipping costs, local taxes and other additional costs, they are calculated during checkout.

The specific details depend on the region concerned, and you can check them on the official website. Good news: any order placed before March 31, 2025 will benefit from free delivery in several regions. We particularly cite Japan, China, the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Pimax Dream Air: Cancel order

If you decide to cancel your orderyou can get your money back. However, there may be fees. These are not directly linked to the company, but rather to external services. For example, the fees charged by your credit card service to process the refund. These fees are determined by the policies of these external companies.

Pimax promises that the Dream Air will arrive in Maybut their reputation leaves doubt. The brand is famous for its repeated delays and its gadgets announced long before having kept its word on the previous ones.

Remember the Crystal modelwhose eye tracking only worked four months after its release, or the “Reality 12K QLED”. The latter was announced in 2021 with almost magical specs but it is still absent. In short, patience and caution are required before getting excited about this new toy.
