ARRI unveils ARTEMIS 2 Live, a camera stabilizer dedicated to live productions

ARRI recently announced the ARTEMIS 2 Live, a lightweight and compact camera stabilizer specifically designed for live productions such as concerts or sports broadcasts.

Providing affordable access to ARRI's range of Camera Stabilizers (CSS), the ARTEMIS 2 Live is both modular and scalable. It allows users to adjust their configuration according to their needs while benefiting from ARRI quality.

The result of several years of evolution of the ARTEMIS range, this stabilizer stands out for its ergonomic and minimalist design which maximizes flexibility in the field. Its ultra-short arm offers greater freedom of movement, essential for following fast and dynamic live actions, even in small spaces. Lightweight monitor stands, specially designed for liveadapt to 7-inch screens from brands such as TRANSVIDEO, Smart Systems and SmallHD. A second support accommodates the monitor “ on air » 5 inch commonly used on production equipment live.

Kits ready to shoot…

To facilitate its integration, ARRI offers kits “ Ready to Shoot ”, including everything you need to get started. One of these kits allows for a seamless combination with the Tiffen Volt gimbal. Thanks to its modular structure, the ARTEMIS 2 Live is compatible with different power sources, thus adapting to the batteries available on set, regardless of the camera used.

The ARTEMIS 2 Live is part of ARRI's vision for the livehighlighted by the launch of the ALEXA 35 Live – Multicam System earlier this year. True to its standards of excellence, ARRI makes no qualitative difference between live and cinema: the components of the ARTEMIS 2 Live are compatible with ARRI cine-style stabilizers, thus guaranteeing optimal quality and reliability. The TALLY and LBUS functionalities also meet the requirements of workflows EFP, facilitating hybrid control of ENG and cinema optics.

Flexibility and scalability

Scalability is at the heart of the ARTEMIS 2 Live: users can transform it into a full ARTEMIS 2 for cinematic productions or even a TRINITY 2, equipped with electronic stabilization for complex camera movements. As the supports and accessories are compatible across the entire CSS range, owners of the ARTEMIS 2 or TRINITY 2 can convert their equipment to a “ live » thanks to the ARTEMIS 2 Live Conversion Kit.
