Two races, two victories, Jabalpur (6) got the winter meeting off to a strong start. Logically, Bruno Jolivet, the prognosticator of ParisTurfmade it his base in this quinté for his return to the 2,100 meters of the big track. A change in distance which does not worry his trainer, Alain Chavatte – “For me, he is even better on this course” – and will make the son of Booster Winner the competitor to beat here. Dea Sprint Bar (3) is also in great shape. Alessandro Gocciadoro's protégé returns to Vincennes after winning five of her last six races in Sweden. Mona Lisa Sibey (2) held the lead against our favorite on December 7 and seems to be making constant progress. The well-stocked list of Kaviarissima (7) authorizes him to make claims at this level, even if he has been chasing success for nine months. There's not much to complain about Edgar Saba (13) during the year 2024. It should once again be able to shine in this 1is January. Attractive in the Prix Octave Douesnel (Gr. II), Immortal Doc (11) is not so bad off in the second row behind Mona Lisa Sibey. Keen Winner (1), whose point is formidable, and Coral Fuck (9), new element of the Bazire clan are possible spoilsport.
Bruno Jolivet's prediction (ParisTurf): 6 – 3 – 2 – 7 – 13 – 11 – 1 – 9
100% Quinté: Christophe Meyer also trusts the same trio
Christophe Meyer opted for the same trio of favorites in the show 100% Quinté to be found below. A legitimate choice for competitors who will start at the front of the line and have just shown their form.
Jabalpur (6) : “After taking the lead halfway through, he repelled the attack from Mona Lisa Sibey to win in the Prix Narquois on December 7 in Vincennes on the 2,700 meters of the main track. It will be shorter this time, but we remember his two victories this summer in Enghien over 2,150 meters. He really has it all here!”
Dea Sprint Bar (3) : “His 2024 season does not have a false note. She won 6 times in 11 outings and obtained 4 runners-up. In short, in 91% of cases, she finished on the podium! She appreciates Vincennes, as evidenced by her victory and her two runners-up in three outings during the previous meeting. Driven by Matthieu Abrivard, she finds a good commitment and should stand out.”
Mona Lisa Sibey (2) : “Dauphine to our favorite on December 7, she also stood out in the quinté of November 28, on the course that interests us, even if she could not really threaten the winner Working Class Hero, who two weeks later was to win the Prix Oscar Collard (Gr. II) before taking 2e place of the Prix Ténor de Baune (Gr. I). She completed her journey that day at a pace of 1'10''6, which gives her a good chance on Wednesday, especially as she is well placed behind the wings of the car.”
Edgar Saba (13) : “He too suffered the law of Working Class Hero... It was in the Prix Oscar Collard (Gr. III), in which he took 2e place after having looked like a winner until the halfway point. Another good performance for someone who, in 9 outings in 2024, has only finished at the foot of the podium once (89% success in the 3 and 100% in the 4). Aside from his number on the second row, there is no reason not to believe in his chances.”
Immortal Doc (11) : “LikeEdgar Saba, His main challenge will be to negotiate his number on the second line. If he succeeds, his encouraging fourth place in the Prix Octave Douesnel (Gr. II) authorizes him to seek a place in the winning combination of this quinté.”
