It's one of the events at the start of the year: the winter sales. The opportunity for some to spend the gifts received during the holidays by treating themselves to clothing, household appliances or technological products at reduced prices.

One month discount
If in four departments, the discounts will start on January 2, 2025, in Paris and Île-de-France, we will have to wait a little more week. As determined by the decree of May 27, 2019, the winter sales will begin on the second Wednesday of January, at 8 a.m., that is to say on Wednesday January 8, 2025.
Ile-de-France residents will have until February 4, 2025or a little less than a month, to do their good business.
Dates that apply for in-store and online purchases. “For online commerce or distance selling (e-commerce), the sales dates are aligned with the national dates of traditional commerce, regardless of the location of the company's headquarters,” specifies the Ministry of Economy.
