Mohamed Salah is the best player in the Liverpool squad.
During an interview with British media ‘Sky Sports’ this Friday, the Egyptian winger confirmed that the 2024-2025 season will be his last as a Liverpool player.
“I am very keen to win the Premier League with Liverpool. This is my last year at the club. I want to give this special gift to the club and the city,” announced the 32-year-old.
Salah’s contract expires in June 2025, and he has already turned down several renewal offers from the club.
“We are very far from any progress in the contract negotiations, so we just have to wait and see,” the Egyptian said.
Currently, the ‘Reds’ player has scored 20 goals and provided 17 assists in the 26 matches he has played under the management of Arne Slot. Thanks to his contributions, Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League and the new Champions League.
