2025 begins with a bang on Wednesday January 1 with the release of “Un ours dans le Jura”, directed and performed by Franck Dubosc. At his side, Benoit Poelvoorde and Laure Calamy accompany him for a funny and fierce thriller.
He is one of the most popular French actors, king of friendly and accessible comedy for the public. On December 16, Franck Dubosc came to present his film as a director. “It’s like when you present your baby. You show it to people, you’re sure it’s beautiful, but you look into the eye of the person looking at it to see if they find it beautiful too”he confides.
In the heart of the Jura, Cathy and Michel, a couple on the verge of breaking up, see their daily lives turned upside down by the appearance of three corpses. They do not take long to arouse the suspicions of the local policeman, an irresistible Benoit Poelvoorde. This trashy comedy was filmed for two months in several villages around the Rousses resort. Black humor seems to have won over the first spectators. Between thriller and comedy, it's a good way to start 2025 with a smile.
