At the start of the evening, the host of Bonsoir bonoir came down from the ceiling, painted blue. His mission was to imitate the extravagant Philippe Katerine during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games this summer.
We can certainly say that Jean-Philippe does not lack audacity for having agreed to appear in one of the most popular shows of the year.
« I found the idea so funny that I didn’t say “no”, but I never said “yes” », he explained in Behind the scenes of Live from New Year’s Day. “ I let it hang around for a while and at some point I got my schedule, so I said, “Okay, I’ll do it.”».
