She explains that she felt a mass in her breast in 2023, but her doctor tells her not to worry. The Tennis player then began radiotherapy and underwent two operations.
Gabriela Dabrowski therefore decides to juggle between her treatment and her training, which she does not stop. She had to schedule treatment breaks to participate in certain world tournaments such as Wimbledon or the Paris Olympic Games where she obtained a bronze medal in the mixed doubles tournament, with her compatriot Félix Auger-Aliassime. In her Instagram post, she explains that “it all seems surreal today.”
