More specifically, this concerns trays of 24 fine Normandy oysters of caliber 3, weighing 2 kilos, from the Cultimer Producteurs Associés brand. Only those sold between December 23 and 26, in the middle of the Christmas holidays, must be returned to the point of sale or destroyed. The fault is an unfortunate labeling error.
Listeriosis, a rare disease
As for organic salmon, the marketing of the product is more problematic: Rappel Conso warns against the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, posing a risk for the consumer. Although listeriosis is a rare disease, it “can be serious”especially among pregnant people and babies, recalls the government site.
Two organic salmon are concerned: one from the Nautilus Collection brand and sold throughout France at Carrefour, Leclerc, Supermarché G20 or even Super U, from November 27 to December 3, the other from Osé Bio, purchased at Vitafrais from November 29 to December 20.
