A speech which comes after an eventful year, marked by electoral failures for his camp, the dissolution of the National Assembly, censorship of the Barnier government and the presence of four different Prime Ministers in Matignon.
A year also punctuated by “French pride” which the Head of State should welcome, starting with the Olympic and Paralympic Games organized this summer in Paris or the reopening with great fanfare of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.
