” On this January 1, 2025, I have the joy of sending you, as well as on behalf of the elected officials of the Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Council and the Aix-Marseille-Provence Métropole, all my most sincere wishes for good health, success and fulfillment, to you and all those who are dear to you.
Despite the complicated context, 2024 was a year full of progress, and 2025 will be one of many achievements!
The mobility revolution, led by the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis, will begin to become a reality, with magnificent projects to come!
The B4 BRT will be put into service this summer in Marseille, the north-south extension of the tramway by the end of the year, as will the entry into commercial circulation of the first NEOMMA trains. There will also be the launch of the Aubagne-Gémenos Bus+, that of the Val’Tram at the end of 2025, without forgetting the ZENIBUS.
For its part, the Bouches-du-Rhône Department will further intensify its social and solidarity actions, which are particularly important during this period. It will continue to protect and support the most vulnerable, at all ages of life.
And I will have the opportunity, mid-term, to present the results of this great institution which has achieved great things, in the heart of your communities, to make your daily life easier.
The year ahead promises to be full of challenges to take on and exciting projects to bring to fruition, for the future and new generations.
I can assure you: the mobilization and commitment of the two institutions that I have the honor of chairing will be there to help you and improve your daily life.
