Gordon Murray will unveil an even more extreme T.33 in 2025

New Gordon Murrays are coming in the near future, including an extreme version of the T.33 which will see the light of day in 2025. This is in any case what the founder of the British manufacturer predicts, who, in an interview given to Autocar, gave some important indications on the brand’s projects.

This new variant called T.33 S will be more powerful than the production model and will be produced in a limited edition to complete the range already made up of the Coupé and the Spider.

First details

During the interview, Gordon Murray clarified that the S will have a strong track orientation, but will remain an everyday car. Extreme yes, then, but not too much, with a V12 delivering – in all likelihood – more than 617 hp and which should always be associated with a manual gearbox.

It will be based on the carbon fiber and aluminum monocoque chassis of the standard T.33, for a total weight which should remain below 900 kg. It will be distinguished from other models by a special aerodynamic package, capable of making the car even more efficient at high speeds.

No specific date was given for the presentation, but the T.33 and both versions of the T.50 made their public debut at the previous Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is therefore possible that the S will also be revealed during the 2025 edition in July.

The future already in mind

There is no doubt that the S will also be sold out in a very short time, as has already been the case with all other Gordon Murrays. The S should also complete the company’s first cycle, which aims to finish production of the models in 2028.

For this year, the brand plans to present a completely new model based on a completely new architecture. Murray remained tight-lipped on what we can expect from this new model, although he did say it will be a completely different style of car. However, the focus will still be on the driving experience rather than pure performance, with the V12 remaining the star.

Production is expected to be limited to around a hundred units, with this platform creating a new family of models that will remain on the list until 2038.
