the president of the Hautes-Alpes department tried in Lyon
The trial of the president of the Hautes-Alpes departmental council is not only that of Jean-Marie Bernard.
His former chief of staff Fabrice Hurth and the current director general of services Jérôme Scholly also appear, accused of having participated in subverting the rules of the disputed public contracts. The former deputy general director of the resources center Béatrice Chevalier, originally suspected of the same facts, has already been convicted by the courts.
Finally, one of the former co-directors of the civil service management center, Catherine Reboul, is also on trial this Wednesday. Jean-Marie Bernard's niece has already been convicted of concealment of embezzlement in the context of a summons on prior admission of guilt.
