Scott L. Schwartz, a former wrestling fighter turned actor, notably in the trilogy Ocean’s Elevendied of heart failure on November 26 in Los Angeles, California, reports the American press. He was 65 years old.
Scott L. Schwartz made himself known to the general public by playing the character of Bruiser in the first part of the trilogy Ocean’s Eleven in 2001. Although brief, his role is crucial in the heist orchestrated by Danny Ocean (George Clooney).
As Variety reports, Scott L. Schwartz is the only actor, along with the 11 members of Danny Ocean’s troupe and their rival Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia), to appear in all three parts of the trilogy directed by Steven Soderbergh.

“I am saddened to learn of Scott’s passing,” George Clooney said in a statement. “We did three films together and I have never been hit so kindly by anyone. He was a beautiful soul and will be missed.”
“Those who knew Scott know what a joyful, full of life, loving person he was. He was a bon vivant and loved to travel,” his agent said in another statement.
Scott L. Schwartz has appeared in over 100 films during his career. We could see this particularly in The Scorpion King with Dwayne Johnson, but also in Spider-Man and comedies Starsky & Hutch et Amateur robbers with Jim Carrey.
