STALKER 2 continues to get better and better over time. The developers have just released a new update to the game which, this time, focuses on mission fixes.
Six bugs that blocked progress in the STALKER 2 campaign
We can say that GSC Game World supports the release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl quite well since after a first Day One patch and the big update of 650 fixes, the studio is delivering a new patch with a list of fixes targeted on six missions in particular. Here is the list.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the second wave of Monolith soldiers from spawning during the “On the Edge” mission, blocking progress.
- Fixed an issue where Richter could be found dead during the mission “A Minor Incident”, blocking progression.
- Fixed an issue where a player could get stuck after installing the fuse in the Wild Island area if they first obtained the transmitter from Faust's cell during the mission “Just Like the Good Old Days”, which blocked progress.
- Fixed an issue where a player could not complete the mission “All That is Left” while exploring the Chemical Plant area.
- Fixed an issue where quest enemies could spawn in areas inaccessible to a player during the “Down Below” mission, blocking progression.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Scar to be missing during the “Visions of Truth” mission.
- Some other EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION errors have been fixed.
With these fixes now available via STALKER 2 patch 1.0.2, progress in the game's campaign can no longer be blocked due to these issues.
Remember that in the coming months, STALKER 2 will be entitled to free content, as well as story expansions. More details will be communicated on this subject during the month of December.
The game debuted in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
