It was 5:30 p.m. when this pedestrian was hit by a Tisséo bus. A doctor who was passing by came to his bedside and then the firefighters and ambulance provided him with first aid on site before transporting him, in serious condition, to the Purpan hospital center.
Cameras dissected
The victim was seriously monitored but, despite the efforts of the nursing staff, this man was declared dead on Friday November 22. An investigation into “manslaughter” has been opened.
The driver, aged 46, was taken into custody to be questioned. He was then left free for police investigators to understand the circumstances of this accident. The images filmed by video protection cameras should be studied.
