It’s a new mobilization that’s coming Toulouse this Thursday, November 28, 2024. The Young Farmers and the FDSEA of Haute-Garonne are indeed calling for a gathering at 9:30 a.m., at the administrative cityin the city center.

This Wednesday morning, farmers gathered, with their tractors, at the du rond-point du MEETTin Aussonne, north of Toulouse where they symbolically dumped straw for a “mountain of fed up”.

No blocking planned

“For tomorrow, we are not planning any blockages or filtering dams,” indicates Laure Serres, president of FDSEA 31, contacted by Toulouse News in the middle of the day.

The farmers will leave at 7:45 a.m. from Saint-Félix-Lauragais, 8 a.m. from Capens and 8:30 a.m. from Muret for a mobilization entitled “hindered agriculture”.

They will reach the city center of Toulouse and the Compans-Caffarelli district “in light vehicles and trucks… for this time”, in the words of the union press release. “For this time”, therefore, the tractors will not be out.

A delegation of farmers should be received at the prefecture at noon.
