More than two years after the death of her daughter Lola, Delphine Daviet-Ropital testified on 5. While hatred is still as strong against “the other”, the main suspect in her daughter’s murder, she has everything even assured that she was “well supported” to get through it.

“I am very well surrounded and that is what helps me get through it,” assures Delphine Daviet-Ropital, the mother of Lola, found dead in a trunk on October 14, 2022 in the 19th arrondissement of . Two years after her death, she testified this Saturday, November 23 in the show C l’hebdo on France 5.

The young girl’s mother spoke about the death of her husband, Johan, who died of grief on February 23, at the age of 49.

“My husband could no longer put together what had happened, it was very complicated in his head. He had stopped drinking three years before the tragedy, unfortunately, it made him plunge back into it. the same day. His body couldn’t do it, he couldn’t eat anymore, he couldn’t sleep anymore,” she says.

Her husband wanted her to gradually return to the path of peace. When asked by journalists, she replied: “Yeah a little in a way, thanks to my family. I’m very lucky, I have my son who helps me get through and get up every morning. he wasn’t there, I might not be here today,” admits Delphine.

“An excuse to take revenge on me”

Lola’s mother also spoke about the case, and “the other” – the woman accused of killing her daughter. “When I’m told that she was in her natural state when she did it, it’s even worse… Is she capable of doing that in her normal state?! No, I don’t accept and I don’t I would never accept,” she says.

During the hearings, the defendant allegedly said that Lola’s mother had refused her a badge, which Delphine disputes. “Apparently I refused her access to a badge. But I can’t give one back, I don’t remember having an altercation with her at all. She says she took that as an ‘excuse’ to get revenge on me” , she declares, stunned.

A trial ordered

But if she decided to speak out, it is so as not to forget Lola and continue to pay tribute to her. “Lola really liked children, she loved taking care of them. She loved gym, it was her passion since she was 6 years old. She had the chance to participate in the French championships,” recalls her mother, nostalgic.

She also wanted to return to a memory, “one in particular”. “There was a song that everyone heard, the song Lola [La Goffa Lolita, La Petite Culotte]I teased her a lot about it. I would sometimes pick up a microphone and sing it for her. It’s his song, it belongs to him,” she concludes.

A trial was ordered by an investigating judge against Dahbia B., the main suspect, on November 15 for the murder of the little girl.
