This Friday, November 22, a fight broke out between two men in a business in Grenoble (Isère). A 36-year-old man died. A 24-year-old Nigerian man was taken into police custody this Saturday.
Drama in Grenoble. A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death this Friday evening during an altercation which took place in a grocery store in the city.
According to the prosecution and the Grenoble prosecutor, Eric Vaillant, confirming information from Dauphiné Libéré, the events took place around 8:30 p.m.
The two men were in an exotic grocery store when the argument started, quickly turning into a violent brawl.
One of the two individuals suddenly stabbed the other in the chest, for a reason still unknown.
When emergency services arrived on scene, they were unable to resuscitate the victim.
This Saturday, the Grenoble public prosecutor indicated that a suspect had been in police custody today since 12:30 p.m. as part of an investigation opened and entrusted to the local judicial police service. He is a 27-year-old Nigerian.
