In its program for the month of July, the associative café had planned a grilling day in the park of the Onet castle, but Lady Météo’s “yoyo game” caused the organizers to grow a few gray hairs by imagining, in a forced march, a meal in the large room instead of enjoying the open air… Indeed, a few days before, the weather was terrible and the same day the sun was blazing!
But two saving marquees allowed the forty guests to enjoy this idyllic setting, without risking sunstroke! Thus, while some were busy with the starters, all seasonal, brought by the participants, a few volunteers were busy with the barbecues: grilled pork, veal and lamb, sausages and merguez, offered by the associative café, very quickly took on lovely colors and the aromas also quickly invited everyone to share something gourmet or gourmand, depending on your point of view! A great atmosphere was quickly established, so much so that the meal stretched out until the arrival of a multitude of desserts also brought by the guests. The afternoon ended with wooden games for some and board games for others, interspersed with short walks in the park, for a really great day!
