Following the European elections and the announcement of the dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, Polynesia the 1st is putting in place an exceptional system for the legislative elections. Polynesia the 1st keeps you informed throughout this special day.

Saturday, June 29, all day long, follow the first round of the 2024 legislative elections live on Polynésie La 1ère. French Polynesia has three constituencies and more than 212,000 voters are called to elect three deputies.

On radio, TV and digital, our teams are mobilizing in several polling stations in Polynesia to offer you live updates in the radio editions from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Throughout the day, you will follow the evolution of the participation rate and the different atmospheres in the four corners of our archipelagos.

Two special television editions are planned at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. On the web, minute-by-minute monitoring will allow you to follow the day of this election from the opening of the polls until the announcement of the results.

Radio broadcasts begin at 8am with the French-language news, followed by the Reo Tahiti at 8:30am. Our journalists Ibrahim Ahmed Hazi and Carlos Natua, live, will give the floor to reporters on the ground to inform you of the atmosphere when the polling stations open and the turnout throughout the day.

Election night will begin at 6 p.m. It will be presented by Lucile Guichet and Heiata Buluc in French and Tahitian with consultants. On the program: reports, direct, analyzes and interviews.
