Emergency services were heavily mobilized yesterday – Friday June 28, 2025 in the department. Indeed, several interventions have followed one another in the territory.
In Dreuilhe, around 4:40 p.m., emergency services went to the RD625 road for a traffic accident. Indeed, firefighters intervened for three people involved in a road accident which paralyzed traffic. Two vehicles were involved. On site, emergency services found that the victims were out of danger. Two of the three people involved were left behind. A slightly injured person was transported to CHIVA. On site, the gendarmes from the Lavelanet brigade set up a diversion. According to our initial information, the driver felt unwell while driving. An investigation is underway.
A man hit by a helicopter-borne lumber trailer
A 38-year-old man was airlifted yesterday around 5:30 p.m. by the gendarmerie helicopter. Indeed, the emergency services were alerted yesterday late afternoon to come to the aid of a man in Castillon en Couserans, knocked down by a trailer loaded with wood. Very quickly the gendarmerie helicopter (CHOUCAS 09) was engaged by the SAMU in order to evacuate the victim. The man, slightly injured, was evacuated to the CHAC.
