Apple lowers the price of its MLS Season Pass

The 2024 Major League Soccer season has just passed the halfway mark, and we’re slowly heading towards the end. As such, Apple is offering a small promotion on the MLS Season Pass.

End of season sale!

It is in fact on October 19 that we will know the 2024 Major League Soccer champion. As half of the matches have been offered, a cut of more than 55% is implemented by Apple TV+, in order to benefit from the second half of the season.

Let us recall that since February, we have been able to watch Lionel Messi and his colleagues kick the ball on the fields of the United States, all for 89 euros for the full season. It will cost 39 euros to watch the rest of this season’s matches. Apple thus indicates that the price is reduced for the remaining games in 2024, including the playoffs. The package will renew at the price of the full season in 2025.

A Fond la pub !

Apple understood this well since last February, for the start of the 12024 season, the Californian firm – now more comfortable on social networks – published a reel on Instagram and a short post on Twitter) about forty seconds.

The spot is pretty succinct. It features a quick montage of shots, starting with two football fans opening the Apple TV app on an iPad in a car. This is followed by appearances from Messi, Cucho Hernandez, Roman Burki, Hany Mukthar and Benjamin Cremaschi scoring their best goals. But also totally unusual shots!

A SUBSCRIPTION AT 11.99 EUROS IN ADDITION TO 6.99 EUROS ON APPLE TV+

The MLS Season Pass is an additional paid service, the cost of which is added to the Apple TV+ subscription, i.e. per month 11.99 euros in addition to 6.99 euros (except Apple One). For those who are not subscribers, the pass is available at 13.89 euros per month (89 euros per season). It is therefore accessible via the Apple TV application on Apple devices, connected televisions, streaming devices, set-top boxes, game consoles, and on the web on tv.apple.

This formula allows fans from more than 100 countries to watch all regular season games livethe entire playoff series and the Leagues Cup (North American soccer competition jointly organized by Major League Soccer and the Mexican Football Federation).

1080P AND DOLBY 5.1 ON THE LAWN

Since February, Apple TV+ has offered a maximum of cameras, i.e. as many viewing angles as available, to follow your favorite team. On the interaction side, improved data and graphics provide better in-game analysis.

At the same time, commentary is provided in both English and Spanish, Canadian teams also offer commentary in French. Numerous programs are also offered in order to go further in knowing the players and teams. These include MLS 360, a new show that offers a detailed preview of each match, with statistics, analysis and discussion between various experts.
