Death of a motorcyclist in a traffic accident in Escalquens

THE firefighters of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Haute-Garonne (Sdis 31) have been intervening since 4:15 p.m. southeast of Toulouse. In fact, the fire soldiers are in Escalquens after a traffic accident, on the D916 departmental road. Its outcome is tragic: a biker died.

In total, three vehicles and a motorcycle are involved. Once there, firefighters came to the rescue. of the four people involved in the accidentincluding two injured: one light and the other, the driver of the two-wheeler, in cardiorespiratory arrest.

The biker is dead

The emergency services, with the support of a Smur team, tried to resuscitate the biker. Despite their efforts, he was declared deceased.

During their intervention, the firefighters also had to take care of another victim who was not involved in the accident. She presented with chest pain.

Traffic stopped on the RD916

L’intervention mobilise four engines and 11 firefighters. The town hall and departmental council services are also on site. At the time of writing, traffic on the D916 is still stopped.
