That evening in Poitiers, June 13, 2024, this couple and their two daughters were in the same car, returning from the Montierneuf church where the 15-year-old eldest, a cellist in the the conservatory symphony orchestra.

Heading towards their house in Buxerolles, they were then involved in a collision with another vehicle on Boulevard de l’Europe, in Couronneries.

In the shock, the mother and her eldest daughter are severely affected, but their vital prognosis is not in jeopardy. The father and youngest daughter have bruises, wounds and chest pain. But the latter, aged 11, is above all very psychologically shocked.

“Alone and panicked on the sidewalk”

Seven days after these events, the mother, still hospitalized (as well as her eldest), would like to launch an appeal today. Indeed, she tells us, “I don’t remember the people who came to help me right after the crash, and I’m not talking of course about the medical teams and the police who arrived very quickly.”

“A lady named Vanessa”

“But one lady in particular, named Vanessa, resident of a nearby building, came to support my youngest daughter, talk to her and reassure her very kindly while she was alone and panicked on the sidewalk, my husband being with the police and witnesses, my eldest daughter and I still being trapped in the car before being immobilized and placed on stretchers. »

So, the mother would very much like to be able to thank this guardian angel. Because he had “a saving and protective attitude for our daughter at that time”.

If Vanessa reads these lines and recognizes herself, she can, if she wishes, contact the editorial staff of The New Republic-Press Center ([email protected]). And we’ll do the rest.
