More than 180 groups are expected over four days during the Hellfast festival which takes place from Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30 in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique). Having become a ritual at the beginning of the summer, the Hellfest wave is about to sweep over the small town of Clisson (Loire-Atlantique), in the Nantes vineyards: 60,000 people per day are expected from Thursday, June 27 to Sunday, June 30 to cheer on Metallica, the Foo Fighters or Shaka Ponk. Dedicated to metal and its currents, Hellfest has gradually established itself over its seventeen editions as the biggest budget of French music festivals, with 38 million euros this year. However, at Hellfest, festival-goers don’t just listen to extreme music.
“At Hellfest, there is a big top that opens at night and they only play French variety and it is packed every night. We listen to Céline Dion, Laurent Voulzy and Gilbert Montagné,” declared Thomas, guest of the show “Pascal Praud et vous”, and regular participant in Hellfest.
