Ukrainian modern metal band Jinjer have officially finished recording their fifth studio album, marking a significant milestone for the band and their fans. The announcement was made on social media, where the band shared a photo from the recording studio with the following message: “We are pleased to announce that our fifth studio album is fully recorded”.

On a recent episode of Knotfest’s She’s With The Band, Jinjer singer Tatiana Shmailyuk spoke about the musical direction of the new tracks, revealing a singular inspiration. “It’s going to be different… all the songs have similarities to each other. Even without lyrics, they feel like they belong in one category. They’re a coherent group of songs. And they have a certain flavor to me, they remind me of the 19th century. It’s very 19th century romantic.”

Jinjer’s new album is set to follow 2021’s Wallflowers , and fans are eagerly awaiting the new sounds and creative direction the band has hinted at.

In addition, fans will be able to see Jinjer in concert this summer, at several festivals including Festival 666 and Motocultor Festival in France, Alcatraz in Belgium and Rock The Lakes in Switzerland.

The group will then accompany Sepultura on the European part of their farewell tour. More information on these concerts is available below.
