His name is Foxy-Brown and he is still very young. A new animal has just joined theimmense parc Pairi Daizain Belgium. A species known for its vitesse who makes itone of the fastest in the world.

You may have guessed, this is indeed news ostrich who arrived in Belgium. Born on July 3, 2024, she arrive du Kolmården Wildlife Park en Suède.
She joined the other ostrich already present in Pairi Daiza but also the giraffes whose territory she shares. She is still in the acclimatization phase, having to “discover her environment and begin to get used to her new companions,” the park explains.
The Ostrich is known for its speed since it runs on average at 70 km/h and can reach 97 km/h in top speed. She is also known for her endurance. It feeds on young shoots, seeds, fruits, but also small animals and insects.
