Watching “House of the Dragon” on RTS simultaneously with the United States, as was the case in 2022, is over. In French-speaking Switzerland, season 2 of the series prequel to “Game of Thrones” is only available on Canal+ from Monday June 17.

Worldwide, the series is actually available on Max, the SVoD streaming service created by Warner Bros. Discovery. This platform, a merger between HBO Max and Discovery+, was launched in France a week ago. In our country, still no Max, and it is Canal+ which now has priority over HBO series, like “House of the Dragon”.

But if the pay channels bought the first broadcast window, the public service will still come in a second phase. When? Rather in 2025, tells us the RTS.

“House of the Dragon” takes place about two hundred years before “Game of Thrones.” The series chronicles the events that caused a civil war called “The Dance of the Dragons”, which led to the loss of the dragons and the beginning of the fall of House Targaryen. We had the chance to talk about season 2 with actress Eve Best and actor Steve Toussaint. An interview can be found here.
