Alerted by users, TBM hastened to deny the information on X (formerly Twitter). “This announcement is false”, ensures the post.
“This document was not created or distributed by TBM, maintains the transportation network. The Olympic Games will not lead to any increase in our prices.” Contacted, TBM does not yet know who could be behind this fraudulent campaign. “We were just contacted by several people who were surprised by this increase,” he explains.

On the other hand, the denial, likely to reassure users, prompted some reactions on social networks. Because an increase in transport prices will indeed take place from July 1. An increase voted on during the Metropolitan Council on Friday June 7.
